POSESTVO ŽORŽ IS A BENEFICIARY OF SUPPORT FROM THE RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA 2014–2020. THE FARM PARTICIPATES IN THE FOLLOWING SUB-MEASURES:
SUB-MEASURE 4.2
Support for investments in the processing, marketing and/or development of agricultural products for 2020
At Žorž Farm, we aim to keep up with the latest developments in wine marketing and offer a product refined down to the smallest detail – wine presented in a beautifully designed bottle.
For a winemaker, it is important to get to know the customer, and the same applies in reverse. The most direct way to achieve this is by inviting customers to the farm, where they can discover the vineyards, the wine cellar and the product itself.
In addition to the quality and aesthetic refinement of the products, which are essential for building a loyal customer base, the impression customers receive when visiting the farm or interacting with the producer is also extremely important.
It is therefore essential to develop a welcoming and professional relationship with customers – making them feel genuinely welcome and paying close attention to their needs and expectations. The human element and the personal relationship between staff and customers are therefore key components of successful sales.
Through the Vina Žorž 1696 project, we are completing our investment in the wine cellar while also improving the workflow of our processing and marketing activities.
Investment objectives
Through this investment, the agricultural holding aims to achieve the following objectives:
easier and higher-quality processing through automatic maceration,
faster and more efficient bottling and labelling.
Expected results
By implementing this investment, the investor expects to:
improve direct sales at the farm, which is the most cost-effective form of sales,
introduce an important new direct marketing channel, allowing the approach to be tailored more effectively to target customers,
restructure the target customer group by focusing on more demanding customers.
Operational objective of the investment
The operational objective of the investment is to ensure the highest possible quality at every stage of the process in order to achieve the best possible final product – which, on our farm, is a bottle of wine.
The project is financially supported by the European Union.
More information about the project is available on the PRP website.
