At home, we are in the wine business. But in our family, we’re also known for our skiing roots. It always felt normal to me – until I realized that in most countries, you can’t ski in the morning and admire the sea the same day. Strange, right?

Here in the Vipava Valley, if you wake up early, you can spend the morning skiing in the Julian Alps… and by the afternoon, enjoy a glass of wine by the Adriatic Sea. On clear days, when you stand by the shore and look out toward the horizon, where Piran stretches out, you will see the distant Alps quietly appear in the background, with Triglav rising among them as the highest peak in Slovenia.

Not a bad way to spend a day, easy no? Ski easy 🙂
