Terasa
In our family, the terasa was a place where family and friends naturally gathered – for a picnic, a long lunch, or simply because it was a beautiful day to sit together. Uncle would bring his guitar, my brother-in-law would take care of something delicious on the grill, and soon everyone would be talking about everything.
Kids running around, adults getting carried away in conversation, someone reaching for another glass of wine, home pets waiting for their bite… nothing particularly planned, and somehow exactly as it should be.
You probably have something similar in your country. But if look a little closer, you may notice some things that are distinctly Slovenian – some typical food on the table, a local wine, characteristic kaki tree, or imagine a sound of traditional Slovenian song playing in the background.
Family time is always special. And sometimes, the simplest moments are the ones we remember most.
